'Tis the Season!

Saturday, headed to Orchard Park and caught Sharon's family's performance! Her sister, Gladys and her parents are in the Queenstown Baptist Church choir. It was very cool!

Everyone in their church was involved, from the little ones to the older ones, haha. And Sharon's dad was very into the singing, yes? .)

Sunday, had a wonderful time playing with Jenn, Jon and Grace for worship! Awesome man! The youths are on fire, and the flame's burning brighter, set their hearts ablaze for you Jesus! Let your word not depart from their lips and minds!

Had a cool cell lunch followed by free dessert at Bakerzin! Warm choc cake! It rox! My Bailey's Soufflé sucked! DO NOT eat that, it tastes like bread dipped in coffee for too long, you know? Soggy soggy one..

Proceeded then to Paragon to watch our Church's (GRACE Assembly!) contribution to Christmas @ Orchard! Coolness! Again, everyone was involved, Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. David Lim was there, Pastor Meng Cham was there, Chinese choir(s) were involved, adult dancers, children santarinas (Joel's sister Stephanie was one), youth and adult choirs! Awesome!

Nicole (Jenn's niece) sang solo on the song "Happy Birthday Jesus"! *Melt melt* and when I was taking photographs of her, she smiled at me! *swoon* Haha, she's very adorable! She's got a lil tummy too, haha, (Don't tell her I said that Jenn!)

Anyway this whole Christmas @ Orchard is a real blessing! We can freely proclaim Jesus through our songs and even words, thank God for the openess in the country, thank God for the government! I hope the non-believers will be blessed over the next week of festivities in town and may some souls be saved!

I Know I Don't Walk Alone

Ah! Sooo many things happening! First of all I never thought I'd be playing in the worship team, what with the situations I was in 2 years ago! I was on and off probation (for the worship team) for 2 years! Most people just have 3 months.. Haha! But the Lord is good! I've come a little way and ahead lies a long tough road but I know I do not walk alone!

Thanks to Jenn and Joey for being patient (NEVER once giving up) with me all these 2 years, praying for me, admonishing me when I needed it and encouraging me! Gotta love 'em.

Sharon, you put toothy grins and beEgsMiles on my face.

Jon, my evil partner in crime, constantly eyeing gear and getting fatter together with oily beehoon.

Jeanie, always always encouraging, sometimes a bully but all in good fun, ever faithful supporter of the bands I play in.

Thank you all, gotta love 'em!

Inside Out!

Inside Out was this year's youth camp, it was held at Fairfield Methodist Secondary School and it was great! How?

First of all the presence of God was truely truely with us in the services! You just know, you know? As Joey will say, the love was there! Everyone praying for everyone else, leaders for their sheep and the younger ones praying for the leaders!

It was also my first time in a long while to play for worship and I was quite stretched for that camp, me being the pig that needs a lot of sleep... But it was all good! I felt strangely energised helping out and serving, like God was pushing me along you know?

Yah lor, I had fun, and I pray that the ministry will move on to greater and greater things! Let this high lead them to YOU, Father!

Rockin' Week

I haven't updated the blog for close to a week because I have discovered a new experience called "going-out-after-booking-out", wahaha, rocks.

Of course I have some rockin' friends to hang out with ala Jonathan WongPongPong & Sharon Bibi. They are da bombs you know?

There will be another lull period on the blog because we are going to Youth Camp! Yay! 4 days at Fairfield Methodist School. Grant us a rockin' good time I pray, Lord! Amen.
