Why Attend Bible Study?

Bible study was great! So refreshing to the Spirit and it spurs us on!

You should really join me for it! I'm not referring to anyone specific, so if you read it, then you are invited.

The teacher Cecilia Perh is great, she's very clear and concise, and of course Biblical! (duh?) So please try to make it for this kind of input for your life if you are Christian.

Why?

Because James 1:21 says the Word can save our souls:
v21: Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls.

Because 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says the Word equips us for every thing:
v16: All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
v17: so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

Because Hebrews 4:12 says the Word pierces our hearts and judges:
v12: For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

There are many more, you should check out, Acts 6:1-4, 2 Tim 2:15, James 1:23-25, Psalm 119:105, 2 Peter 1:19, 1 Peter 2:1-3 and Hebrews 5:14!

So don't come and tell me some people need the Word more and some others need experience. We can experience God through the Word because God backs His own Word up!
