Praying for Healing

Mark 1:40-41 (NASB)
40And a leper came to Jesus, beseeching Him and falling on his knees before Him, and saying, "If You are willing, You can make me clean."

41Moved with compassion, Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, "I am willing; be cleansed."
Mark 1:40-41 (NASB)

Here is an example of humble prayer when asking for healing, instead of a presumptious way of demanding that God heal this person and that person.

I believe we should approach Jesus in an humble manner and ask if He's willing first.

My pastor once preached on the intense compassion of the heart of Jesus out of this verses. He spoke about the endearing heart cry of Jesus to heal and how the man's humble words had touched the core of our Saviour's heart. Great entry on humility

Liang, this is a good reminder, sometimes I pray on demand, and my heart is far far and away unable to receive humbly.
